MPL Technology Group Joins Socomec UK’s M2i Partner Programme

Specialist network, ‘M2i’, combines Socomec’s advanced metering and power quality solutions with industry-leading business intelligence and support Socomec Group, a specialist manufacturer of low voltage power management solutions, has announced the launch of its new Metering & Monitoring Integrator partner programme, ‘M2i’, aimed at accelerating organisations’ modernisation and compliance efforts in line with the EU’s Energy Efficiency Directive (EED).

Under EED rules, owners and operators of facilities with a capacity above 500 kW must disclose key environmental performance indicators annually. This demands the most accurate measurements across energy consumption, power utilisation and more. Next to compliance, organisations are also motivated to adopt transparency-enhancing technologies to future-proof their operations and – as AI workloads continue to drive up power demand – unlock new efficiencies to save costs.

Socomec’s Digiware system meets these demands with class 0.5 accuracy in a compact, modular design – making it ideal for retrofitting or scaling across dense electrical environments. Its precise circuit-level measurement ensures EED compliance by capturing detailed energy performance data required for ongoing optimisation.

Within the M2i programme, Digiware – as well as Socomec’s wider suite of energy metering and power quality solutions – will become more accessible to UK organisations via a network of local EED specialists. These organisations bring deep expertise in designing and delivering energy efficiency strategies, vital business intelligence, and simplified reporting. Partner organisations will receive dedicated sales and technical training, tailored marketing resources, and invitations to Socomec’s annual partner event to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of energy solutions.
